Veli Vural Uslu - Gast im Dezember 2019

Veli studied Molecular Biology and Genetics in Turkey to then move to Heidelberg, doing his PhD at EMBL, working on understanding the 3D structure and organisation of mammalian genomes during development and cancer. After his PhD, he got a postdoc at the plant molecular physiology department of the University of Heidelberg, researching how plants sense nutrients in the soil. Currently he is fighting plant disease at the AgroScience GmbH.

Additionally to that, he's a beast on stage. Why? Well, he won the FameLab Germany competition and became runner-up in the world final, he founded TAP theater, HT theater, Science-Com Heidelberg and VeGe photos. All in all: We could not imagine a better first guest – and there will be ample time for you to ask him anything, so we hope we will see you next week!
