Johanna Callhoff - Gast im Juni 2022
Johanna Callhoff forscht am Deutschen Rheuma-Forschungszentrum in Berlin und an der Charité- Universitätsmedizin Berlin mit dem Ziel, die Versorgung Rheumakranker in Deutschland zu verbessern. Sie analysiert dort vor allem Beobachtungsdaten. Dabei setzt sie sich mit allen Fallstricken auseinander, die diese Daten bereithalten. Sie studierte Mathematik in Oldenburg und medizinische Biometrie in Bremen. Am meisten schätzt sie an ihrer Arbeit das interdisziplinäre Umfeld, bei dem Statistiker*innen und Ärzt*innen eng zusammenarbeiten. Johanna engagiert sich im Postdoc-Netzwerk der Leibniz-Gemeinschaft und nimmt jede Gelegenheit wahr, bei Science-Slams aufzutreten. Ihre langjährige Bühnenerfahrung beim Improtheater hat sie dafür perfekt vorbereitet!

Johanna Callhoff works at the German Rheumatism Research Center in Berlin and at Charité- Universitätsmedizin Berlin. She aims to improve the care of patients with rheumatic diseases in Germany. She primarily analyzes observational data. In doing so, she deals with all the pitfalls that these data hold. She studied mathematics in Oldenburg and medical biometry in Bremen. What she values most about her work is the interdisciplinary environment in which statisticians and physicians work closely together. Johanna is involved in the Postdoc Network of the Leibniz Association and takes every opportunity to perform at Science Slams. Her many years of stage experience in improv theater have prepared her perfectly for this!
